DENVER – July 21, 2009 – Global Technology Resources, Inc. (GTRI), a leading provider of technology consulting services, today announced it was named the third fastest growing private company in Denver by the Denver Business Journal. The company earned its high ranking by growing 66 percent over the past three years.
The Denver Business Journal surveyed 300 Denver-area privately held companies based on the percentage growth for fiscal years 2006, 2007 and 2008. Participating companies were then ranked by total revenue across five flights. GTRI was recognized as the third fastest growing privately held company in the "Flight I" category designated for the largest private companies with revenues in excess of $47 million. GTRI reported 2008 revenues in excess of $126 million.
GTRI has consistently appeared on the Denver Business Journal’s annual list since 2005 where it debuted at number 60. The company has achieved tremendous growth since then climbing to the 14th spot in 2006, fifth in 2007 and topping the list in 2008 in the number one spot.

GTRI’s ranking on the Fastest-Growing Private Companies list comes on the heels of the Denver Business Journal naming the company number three on its list of the Largest Denver-Area Minority-Owned Businesses. Businesses on the Minority-Owned list are ranked by gross revenues, and GTRI achieved the number three spot for the second consecutive year in a row.
In addition to its Denver Business Journal listings, GTRI was also recently ranked number seven on the ICIC Inner City 100, number 219 on the VARBusiness 500 and number three on the ColoradoBiz Top 50 Minority-Owned listings.
