Pediatric cancer is always unanticipated and brings many challenges for our Heroes and their families. For many, the financial toll on the family brings more stress and disappointment to the holiday season than joy and togetherness. The Heroes Forever Adopt-A-Hero campaign is designed to share the load with those families in need by taking up the reins of Santa’s sleigh.
For every Hero adopted, a list of the entire family’s needs (clothing, groceries, etc.) and their wants (toys, games, etc.) are collected and filled to the best of our ability. There are many ways in which you can help make the holidays special for entire families this year.
- Adopt a family with a child with cancer
- Adopt a child with cancer
- Sponsor a toy or gift drive
- Solicit cash donations to purchase gifts on a child’s wish list
- Purchase one or more gifts on a child’s wish list
